March Fun: Tulips to Bunnys!

Looking for some fun as you wait patiently for spring to arrive? Here’s a roundup of eight enjoyable Seattle events to keep you busy during the last weeks of winter.

Now: Skagit Valley Tulip Festival – Thanks to Mother Nature, the blooms are early this year and the two display gardens are open for business.

3/19: Spring into action with the Magnuson Series Dualathon in Magneson Park—all ability levels for biking and running are welcomed, so bring the whole family to have some competitive fun!

3/25: It’s hot, it’s cool, it’s for a great cause. Come join the 21st Annual Hot Java Cool Jazz to help support local high school award-winning jazz bands at the Paramount; 100% of the ticket sales will be contributed towards school music programs.

3/26: From 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., get your fill of Easter egg hunting with the Bunny Bounce and Easter baskets for the animals at the Woodland Park Zoo–from creative crafts, bunnies to bears!

3/27: Enjoy Easter Sunday brunch on a boat cruising Lake Union and Lake Washington with Waterways Cruises—look forward to full bellies, gorgeous scenery, and a special visit by the SeaBunny,

Get your creative juices flowing with the Art Walk in Seattle’s U-District neighborhood, which takes place on the 3rd Friday of every month from 6 to 9 p.m., with no charge.

Join the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma every 3rd Thursday of every month from 2 to 8 p.m. for storytelling, artifacts, and learning more about your home state!
