Choosing a limo for prom:

When hiring a limo for proms and other special events, it's important to consider the following:

• Choose a limo company that will partner with you to ensure their service is timely, drug and alcohol-free, and professional.
• Research - companies can vary greatly, so check them out.
• Communicate your expectations
• Contract for safety and an alcohol-free experience
• Stay in touch with your child during the event

Here are some specific things to check when selecting a limo company:

• Be sure the company holds a valid Washington license with proper
  Insurance. Check the status of a business or professional
  license.
  
  
• Check service's references and Better Business Bureau rating.
  
  
• Ask how the service screens its drivers. A reputable company hires drivers with proper training and licensing.
  
  
• Be sure you are getting the specific limo you want - and that it is safe. Ask for any special procedure forms and contracts for passengers who are minors.
  
  
• Be sure you know the services you are purchasing. Ask if ice, soft drinks, or snacks will be provided. Ask about gratuities, mileage and fuel costs, vehicle cleaning, specific drop off/pick up times, etc.
