Service changes you can expect during bad weather
Thank you for choosing Shuttle Express. We are committed to providing our guests with safe, on-time service at all times, even during difficult circumstances such as inclement weather and catastrophic local events. During these times, we may need to change operations to ensure we fulfill our obligations to those who've booked with us.
When weather and circumstances make normal operations unsafe and impractical, we will make changes to how we book reservations, including pick-up time and pick-up locations.
For Trips to the Airport
- When snow is forecast and fully expected to fall, we will add 30 minutes to all new and existing reservations to the airport during that time period. This gives our drivers more time to navigate slick roads, heavier traffic and increased passenger loads.
- When snow accumulates and creates unsafe driving conditions and poor road conditions, we will ask guests to meet us at central pick-up locations including hotels, park and rides, and other areas. See Alternate Pick-Up Locations below for a list of those locations.
- When you call to book your ride during this time, we may give you an alternate pick up spot where we can most safely and efficiently provide service to.
For Trips from the Airport
- We highly recommend that guests book advance reservations from the airport. Guests with advance reservations will be assigned vans first, and if we have the capacity we will accept walk-up reservations.
- When snow accumulates and creates unsafe driving conditions and poor road conditions, we will move from home drop-offs to drop-offs at our central locations including hotels, park and rides, and other areas. See Alternate Pick-Up Locations below for a list of those locations. You will be asked to select the most convenient central drop off point at the time your make your reservation. We will make every effort to reach you if your reservation is for a home drop off.

During snow storms and other extraordinarily busy times, we experience heavy phone volume and guests sometimes wait on hold for long periods of time. We recommend you email us for quicker service. We will respond to your message and call you as quickly as possible.

Alternate Pick Up Locations
We pick up once each hour at the following locations. During bad weather, we may limit our pick up/drop off locations to these scheduled options. Please note that in most cases, you cannot park your car and leave it. Important: check with the hotel if you're planning to leave your car!To the Airport:

Advance Reservations are best
Reservations from the airport are highly recommended especially during bad weather, although we do accept walk-ups depending on availability. Please note, reservations from the airport are not valid until activated. Trips are routed and vans are dispatched as guests activate their reservations.
Benefits of Advance Reservations
- Priority seating for reservations from the airport Guests who activate their advance reservations from the airport will have their vans dispatched before walk-up guests. If we are overbooked because of a high number of reservations, bad weather or road closures we may stop accepting walk-up reservations in order to accommodate our guests with advance reservations. Walk-up guests may be added to vans already going to certain areas, but their seats are not priority.
- Quicker Check-In – Guests with advance reservations from the airport can go directly to the van loading area to check in, or they can use our self-check-in kiosk. Walk-ups must check availability and make reservations with our airport coordinators at our booth.
- Save $10 when you book both legs of your trips!
- Advance reservations enable our dispatchers to schedule the right number of vans each day and help us to efficiently group other share ride guests, which keeps your wait and travel time to a minimum.
